“I had the Epson 5020UB hooked up to my surround sound. I want to replace it with the 1060. Does anyone know if this is compatible?”

Sound output is available through HDMI and av wires. Ur surround sound system should have a HDMI input and output to be able to passthrough audio from a given source. Another option is to hook it up using av wires . (The red and white ones)

Yes, it’ll hook up the same way I believe. The big difference is probably going to be the distance from the screen. When we replaced our a few weeks ago, we had to have it remounted 4ft closer than the older projector was.
