The projector can be used outside, but I would not recommend it during the day. Crystal clear image once the sun goes down, but if you want to project outside during the day, you will need a MUCH higher quality projector.

Hi, The Epson Home Cinema 1060 features 3100 lumens, so it is adequate for outdoor viewing as long as you avoid direct sunlight and keep the projector close to the screen. A projector with a higher Lumens rating would work better. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
