1. Buy a HDMI audio splitter. Firestick plugs into splitter. Splitter to projector using HDMI cable. Splitter to receiver or sound bar using optical or coax digital audio cable. 2. Firestick has built in Bluetooth. You can connect to a Bluetooth receiver which connects to your home theater. 3. Use Bluetooth capability of Firestick to connect to a Bluetooth speaker. Connect "headphone out" of Bluetooth speaker to input of your receiver or sound bar using an earphone to RCA cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you plug your firestick in your projector’s hdmi 2/MHL, i believe your audio will only be in the projector’s built-in. Unfortunately, audio out feature does not exist on this model. Unless you can find an adapter thing that will bridge your firestick thru your surround and to the projector (firestick to surround to projector). In my case, i have a 5.1 vizio surround. I hipe this will help you in a way. My set up is from my laptop to my soundbar’s hdmi IN, then feom soundbar’s OUT to my projector’s hdmi in. In this setup, my laptop’s video (netflix/hulu/youtube) goes thru my soundbar to projector, and the 5.1 is not affected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to go through another device that has an hdmi input and an hdmi output as well as a seperate audio output. An example is a game conse lile xbox 360. Use the optical audio output to connect to you sound system. Use the hdmi input for your firestick and your hdmi out to your projector.
