I have done this a couple of ways. Throw distance changes the size, the farther away obviously the larger. In a situation that I only had a small distance available I used a mirrors at right angles to give me the distance I wanted when I did not have the ability to get further away in a straight line. The projector will reverse the image if need be to make the picture correct.
