Don’t know about the comparison, but I bought the 4000 for grandkids & they love it. Use it indoors & outside with portable 100” screen. Picture & clarity are tops. Sports are amazing. Projector ‘box’ on 4000 is bigger but allows more air circulation, which I was told is very important.
