I upgraded my firmware via a flash drive plugged into the USB port. There is no default wifi for doing such.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ethernet only. Maybe there's a separate wireless dongle you can buy. In any case, the updating process for the projector is windows only and really convoluted. I don't think they're going to be pushing firmware updates honestly. The ethernet is primarily there so you can use the Epson iProjection app (mac, windows, android, IOS) to control the projector from the app and share videos, photos, screenshare. Sort of like casting via chromecast or mirroring with AppleTV.
