- I scan as a JPG file. - Make a copy of the original file, to use as your cropping file. - Save each crop as a Save As. - If you accidentally just do a Save after cropping. You still have your original to make a new cropping doc to work from. - I learned the hard way using the original, then cropped a picture, then Saved, and the Original was lost. I had to rescan again. - Hope this makes sense.
