“Does it have an usb port to upload pictures from the usb?”

• standard a/b usb cable comes with the scanner. that is how it communicates and it has to be powered also. worth the trade off but keep scanner under 6 feet from the computer. Longer cables seem to cause problems even with the expensive one that are supposedly so great.

• Not sure why you would upload pictures to a scanner? Maybe you need to upload pics to the computer or the printer to print
