I assume that you want to record the date a picture was taken on in the file that you get after scanning a printed picture or slide. The answer is that yes, you can add a date taken to your file, but not via the Epson scanner interface. Use the scanner to create a picture jpg file. After scanning, go to the file and right click on it, then choose the 'properties' option. In the Properties box, click on the "Details" tab. You can now fill in the 'date taken' and a bunch of other fields that can be saved in the jpg picture file.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It automatically dates in the file name
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.when i set up the scan, i name all pictures by the year they were taken. (some guess work here, but i've been able to get close. names in my collection will look like (1970002 or 1970048) the prints often have a date on them, but this date is the printing date. if i didn't get the film to the lab right away, i may get a print that says Mar 1989, when the pic clearly is of Christmas 1988. i'll get the print into the 1988 folder and worry about renaming or regrouping them later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd do it by assigning file names that include the date, or editing filenames later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To my knowledge only if you change file name
