Q: QuestionDoes it have an usb port to upload pictures from the usb?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer standard a/b usb cable comes with the scanner. that is how it communicates and it has to be powered also. worth the trade off but keep scanner under 6 feet from the computer. Longer cables seem to cause problems even with the expensive one that are supposedly so great.

Q: QuestionWill this Scanner scan a business card or other printed graphics for reprint on magazine or flyer (card stock) and not turn out blurred or pixelated??
Asked by BIzniss.
- A:Answer I wasn’t planning to ‘enlarge’ anything. Just want a less blurry upload from scanning so that it will print elsewhere and not look like crap. Currently have 600dpi max on a canon. After looking on Amazon I got my answer when a person scanned their hand drawn art and copied it and it looks perfect. I believe it should work well. I will update this answer once I get to scan my card. I also ordered from them vs here because it was cheaper, I get it faster and I can return it with no problems.

Q: QuestionWhat is the maximum number of photos that can be scanned at one time?
Asked by JAS.
- A:Answer It depends on the size of the photos but as many as can be placed on the screen. The device has a recognization function that will capture any placed and if various sizes. Equally important is to make certain the proper drivers and software are installed, especially if using Mac OS X which is my system. Once you are certain all of the function boxes are installed the devise works very well.

Q: QuestionWill it scan 120mm black and white negatives? from an old Brownie camera
Asked by gailann.
- A:Answer Yes. While assume not a Brownie (camera unknown but of that era) one of the two trays accepts the 2" wide 120 film. Length (square vs rectangle) doesn't matter as you can put a strip of two or three negatives in the guide on the platen. The padding on the lid lifts off exposing a light that shines through the negative (or slide) during the scan. The negative will be converted to a positive by the scanning software so no other software is required...but I do clean up with Photoshop. I personally gave up on the auto scan as it couldn't find the separation bar between the negatives, and selected the area, scanning individually. Also, while in Photoshop, while I preserved the original scan file, knowing intended print was 4x6, I cropped the exact area I wanted and saved them to a 4x6 crop folder for printing. If I wanted a 5x7 or 8x10, would go back to the original scan and do the same rather than letting printing software choose the composition for me..
