Hi NC, In an apples to apples comparison, using the same settings and computer, the V600 is faster than the V39. If speed is a concern, please consider an Epson sheet-fed document scanner. Using that type of scanner, you can load and scan tens of pages in a minute. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
