• It is not compatible with a chrome book, and it does not use chrome to scan, it has its own Apple and Windows driver and interface software available for download.

• From what I've seen when setting mine up it only works with Windows OS or Mac OS. I don't believe it supports chrome, however you might contact Epson directly. Also- It does not work wirelessly. It's only functional through a USB cable.
