Hello Bigfoot. The RR-400W can scan documents ranging from 2" x 2" to 8.5" x 120" in size. You should be able to scan receipts. Just make sure to pull the scanner position selector on the back of the product and tilt the scanner forward into the vertical path position. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
