“Is this scanner compatible with iMac 11.6 Big Sur. My Epson ES-500W does not work properly with my new computer. I need to use Utility 2, which is much more time consuming to drag and attach each sheet to e-mail. I prefer to just "attach to Mail".”

Yes it sure is. And you can scan up to 100 double sided pages and 240 single.
