Hello. Ink cartridges that are designed with specific printer models usually do not work with other printers. So for example, if a printer is designed to work with 812/812XL ink cartridges, then they generally will not work with 822/822xl ink cartridges and vice versa. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
