I don't think there is an advantage to either one for photos. What I did read in a review from PC Mag, the ET-3750 and WF-4750 have a better printhead and thus produces a better image. Recently I purchased the ET-3700 and am probably returning it for the 3750 just for that reason. Although the photo printing with the ET-3700 and glossy paper using "Best" in printer settings is pretty close to the results with my Professional Canon photo printer.
