Hello DeltaTerrii. Yes, the ES-580W can automatically scan both sides of an 8.5" x 11" page and save it in PDF format. Additionally, if you're looking to save a group of scanned originals as a single file PDF file, you can choose the "Multi-Page PDF" option. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
