Hi Mark, The WorkForce Pro WF-3820 is not 5Ghz Wifi compatible. You need a 2.4GHz network to use it wirelessly. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just chatted with a tech and said the 5G wireless is compatible. This question was 11 months ago has something changed. I'm looking at buying this and I have a Verizon 5G wireless internet service I really want to use the scan to email feature on this printer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the printer only connects via 2G. When I had my router set for Smart Connect, the connection would automatically be 2G, in addition, I kept losing the connection between the router and the printer. But when I disabled the Smart Connect, the printer defaults to 2G. Now, I do not experience any connectivity issues when the printer comes out of standby mode. I don't understand why anyone would desire 5G for a printer in the first place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is the WF-2630 compatible with 5g
