“Hi 1-Can I print without wi fi connection and if so how? Would that work that way for laptop, i pad and i phone? 2-If I want to print only in black do I have to have filled the colors also? Thanks so much”

Yes, you can print without a wifi connection. It comes with a USB cord. You will have to use your printer settings when they come up to change the color option. You do have to fill the color side up if you want to print in black. My color side ran out and it shut me down until I refilled it.

When used on an iPad or iPhone, the printer can only be connected via Wi-Fi. You can temporarily print in "black only" mode when other color cartridges are expended. If the printing stops, you can choose to cancel your print job and select settings to temporarily print with only black ink on plain paper. We recommend replacing any expended color cartridges as soon as possible as this can lead to print head-related issues. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
