Yes you can scan or fax from the document feeder.

yes, you can scan on document glass, or the ADF reader as long as its not wider than 8.5 inches. Make NOTE: this is the only small footprint printer Epson makes ( even other companies) that has a ADF duplexer. Meaning = the ADF flips the paper, no other printer does this, so you can SCAN 2 sided original without having to flip manually !! no other new models does this.
