• Haven't timed printing but seems very good speed and quiet. Can choose quick or Econ. mode when wanted.

• No, I never turn mine off, I let it go into the sleep mode. It let's you run a calibration when you want to, by going to maintenance when you chose to, and select what you want it to do.
