“Received printer for Christmas - can we still buy a Geek Squad plan ? We received this Epson Printer as a Christmas present in Dec. We just got home on 1-3-16. We would like to know if we can still buy a Geek Squad service plan. The shipping label on the box says it was shipped from Best Buy. We don't know when our gift giver bought it as we have no receipt, only the shipping box from Best Buy. Thanks”

I think you can get Geek Squad at any time, but I am not sure. Do you already have geek squad? They should already cover your new "purchases" even though they were gifts.

I'm pretty sure you only have 15 or 30 days from the date of purchase to add the protection plan. Depends on if the gift giver is an elite member or not. But, you could explain the situation to Best Buy and see if they can work something out. Can't hurt to ask.
