After maybe a year of ownership this printer will print blurry or missing lines for me. I've tried cleaning the print heads numerous times but it does not fix the problem. Many people have the same issue. There is a cleaning kit that can be purchased online but I have read it's an issue with the Epson piezo print heads. So, any Epson with these can have this problem.

Please try again later.I have only had this a month, so haven't had it long enough to have seen any issues, but i replaced my last Epson Workforce because I had the same problem when scanning or printing. I had called Epson in the past and there is no way to clear that from the screen. When that happens, your printer is just older and it would be more expensive to fix than to bite the bullet and just buy a new one. I am very pleased with this printer. GREAT quality printing, double sided scanning, prints from my Android phone or memory stick. Lots of features for the money that my old printer didn't have. Hope this helps!
