• Any 12 volt source that is on when the car is on. I tapped mine into the 12v power outlet.

• There are two (2) wires, a power (fused) and a ground. I hooked the power wire to the fuse box, and the ground to a chassis bolt. So far works well.

• I connected it to the back of the 12volt outlet instead of trying to run it all over the car to a power supply. That way it shuts off with the ignition. Worked perfectly.
