Yes, this item has a USB port.

The Escort iX requires a 12v cig lighter or power outlet in your vehicle. If your car doesn't have one (and only USB power ports) then you can probably find a third party power adapter that would work.

Escort makes a hard wire kit for this detector that you connect to your vechicles 12VDC power. They have one for all their radar detectors.

It does not have a USB option to plug into a USB power source.
