“Escort - MAX 360c says it has "Rechargeable Battery". Does that mean it does not need a cord running the cigarette lighter or need to be hard wired in to vehicle electrical system? I I own many cars & my antique cars have no lighter. Need battery operated”

Thank you for your question. The Max 360c is not battery operated. It must be powered up with the provided 12 volt SmartCord or an optional Direct Wire kit.
