The radar detector does not pick up other vehicle's lane departure warning signals. However it does pick up cell towers which is very annoying to me. My previous S3 model did not pick up cell towers. My only gripe. The sensitivity adjustments available is City/Highway/Auto. I keep mine on Auto but the cell towers are still an issue.

I can't answer definitively but I've used it on my motorcycle and I've never noticed it alarming on lane departure or blind spot systems. There are sensitivity settings you can play with, i usually use the defaults for City/Hwy/Automatic.
