Q: QuestionDoes this detector pick up all laser signals?

• A:Answer Yes it does but perhaps a bit too sensitive. It does pick up cell towers as you drive by. My previous S3 didn't and this could be annoying at times. The range has been improved. I do like the convenience of battery powered. Other than being too sensitive, I do like it. Will keep fine tuning. Thanks

Q: QuestionDoes this radar has voice activation? Also since the radar runs off of batteries will I have to manually turn the radar off when exiting my vehicle?

• A:Answer Good question. I don't believe it is weather proof since I didn't see any seals around openings. You may want to try a plastic cover as a suggestion. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWill this radar detector pick up signals from other vehicles' lane departure and blind spot systems as false alarms? If so, is there a way to limit the sensitivity to these? If so, would this be X Band or K Band? Thanks, Bob

• A:Answer The radar detector does not pick up other vehicle's lane departure warning signals. However it does pick up cell towers which is very annoying to me. My previous S3 model did not pick up cell towers. My only gripe. The sensitivity adjustments available is City/Highway/Auto. I keep mine on Auto but the cell towers are still an issue. Hope this helps.
