Radar uses radio waves which reflect off of object so all radar detectors can detect radar from front and back. Our detectors with 360 in their name will detect radar from the back farther but the main feature these 360 detectors offer is directional arrows which point towards the radar source. It will reject some false alerts but our higher end detectors, such as MAX 3, MAX 360, MAX 360c, are better at this. It will only display your speed when connected via bluetooth to your smartphone running the Escort Live app.
