• According to the manufacturer website you can add up to 16 cameras to a home-base.

• Yes, the base is able to add the third camera since each base can add up to 16 cameras via one login. The battery doorbell will come with a Homebase as its own recording tower, while the wired doorbell itself works as a recording tower.
