The compatibility of a doorbell with your existing chime depends on whether you are using a wired or battery-powered model: Battery-Powered Doorbell: If you hardwire a 2K battery-powered doorbell with your existing doorbell wires, your existing chime will work as an indoor chime when the doorbell is pressed. Ensure proper installation by following the steps provided in the Quick Start Guide. Wired Doorbell: The wired video doorbells are not compatible with existing chimes.
