Yes, the SoloCam S340 can be monitored on your iPhone as it connects to your home WiFi and allows you to check the live feed from a long distance as long as you have access to the internet through the app. Regarding the distance between the camera and the solar panel, the cable provided for the solar panel is 10 feet (approximately 3 meters) long. Currently, longer extension cables are not available for this model. You can either mount the solar panel directly on top of the camera or mount it separately in a location with better sunlight exposure.
