You can just connect 2 8 pin connectors
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Example: Radeon R9 295x2 needs 450-500w and has 2 8 pins, Do not daisy chain them to the same rail ! Use 2 rails 8 pin from each rail. 1 rail cannot provide enough amps to support such a card and you will burn even a 1000w PSU up(The rail your using). Check out Tom's hardware for more detailed explanation. Old thread but people should be aware. Newer cards don't have near the draw on a PSU but better safe than sorry, I learned the hard way !

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has 6x 6/8 pin cables for video cards. High power cards should be using 2x 8 pin sets. This power supply should run any modern setup you have that doesn’t have some sort of extreme requirements like custom made hardware.
