As long as your 3040 is the full-size chassis version and not the small-form factor or mini-PC size version. This graphics card will not fit in a small-form factor or mini-pc chassis! Also be aware you must have a 300W output minimum on your power supply to support this graphics card. A sticker on your power supply should show you the output wattage. Hope this helps!
