Don't know what monitor you have? I have the Samsung CR49 & C27RG. I have a 10700 Intel not AMD. I love the RTX 2070 Super EVGA. Best money I ever spent. Monitors are crystal clear when gaming or working. Even though AMD Radeon GPUs and some Free-Sync monitors support Adaptive Sync over HDMI, Nvidia says you'll need to connect your GeForce GPU to your Free-Sync monitor using a DisplayPort cable to activate variable refresh rates. (G-Sync monitors only work over DisplayPort as well. Plenty of topics and it all refers to the monitor you own. NVIDIA has drivers that will help with the refresh rate. Hope this helps.
