GTX 1060 only requires a 400 watt psu and the evga psu has the 8pin power connector as well so you shouldn't need an adapter.

Please try again later.Are you trolling, you're talking about a 2,200 dollar computer and putting a 30 dollar power supply in it, put at least an $80 PSU in there, you don't want to fry expensive components and also spend 15$ on a surge protector. I advise a corsair or Be Quiet supply which is at least gold rated.
