“My current power supply is a HP 667893-003 would this work for me? Keep getting under power error messages and random shut downs so was looking for a replacement upgrade. Thanks”

The shutdowns may be the result of a failing Power supply unit. So I would recommend switching that out ASAP to prevent any issues. Your computer should not have any issues with compatibility with this Power supply.
