“How do I find out if my local store had a product in stock through the online store? I want to buy a new power supply for my new gaming desktop I purchased from bestbuy.com and have Geek Squad install it. I rather not wait for another shipment since I have just gotten the PC in the mail today.”

Seriously speaking, you don't. (Like most stores with websites in addition to their brick&mortar stores, the reliability of BB's online inventory counts at their stores is terrible.) So pick up the phone and call them. And be sure to ask how many they see when they look it up and if they don't have a LOT of them, ask them to physically verify that they have it. If their inventory system shows only a few, there's a good chance there won't actually be any on the shelf, since things like returned products and flawed merchandise often remain "in inventory" even when those products aren't really available for sale..

Please try again later.Hi Nicky, On the product page, located right under the "Shipping" option, you should see an option for "Store Pickup" and right under that you should see "Check More Stores." If you click on "Check More Stores" a pop up box will open and you can see which stores have your desired product in stock around your local area. If the zip code isn't correct, then you can click on the zip code at the top of the box, next to "Location" and input the correct zip code. Im 14, I watched a video on youtube and installed it. It is very simple. I would never bring it to geek squad because its expensive to have it put in. (about $40-$70) . You should be able to walk in and buy it or one similar; (price match is a money saver)! Hoped this helped you. Christopher Kalkowski

Most stores have it in my area or they are just out of stock. You can also always buy it online or have best buy order and you pick it up! Hoped that helped Christopher Kalkowski
