I was concerned with that same question. I have a Dell Optiplex 960, but this power adapter slid right in. It is set-up for more power than what I have as there are additional wire hookups for additional boards if needed. But match and follow what is in your unit and everything lined up. Technical skill (1-10) about a 6, take your time and match what plugs in where and you are set.
