Wi-Fi, just connect the camera with supplied power cord, plug it in and follow the instructions to activate, you must follow step by step, you can always reset if needed. You can subscribe to the cloud or add a micro Sd-card to record action however you can just leave the camera running without an sd card, I set up mine outside on the back porch protected from water/snow. Hope this help.

nice product. working as described and you need microSD card or cloud subscription to store video recordings. you will get 7 day trial period for the cloud subscription. if you want you can buy 32 gb micro sd card for 5-6 dollars at bb.
