Yes much like all the other Far Cry games this is no different. The campaign can be played completely alone or with others with nothing lost in either experience.

Yes the game can be played offline singleplayer. Personally i had the internet go out on the second day of playing and i was afraid that it would required for me to connect to Uplay, but it didn't. The online portion is when you wanna play with a friend by co-op and when making cosmetic purchases from the store, but luckily most of the items that can be purchased with real money can be earn by doing the outpost.

Yes, the entire game can be played solo, offline. However, there is one trophy that requires doing some quests with another player so you won't be able to get the platinum trophy without playing online.
