Does it fit a dinner size plate inside? null

Depends on the size of the plate but I think most dinner sized plates will fit. The glass turn table is listed as 12.5 inches on Amazon but Consumer Reports says it's 11.3 inches. So you will likely be able to use plates a little larger than whichever dimension is correct.
