• A:Answer The outside dimensions of the frame are 30-3/4" wide by 21-1/2" deep. The trim frame is a one-piece thin, almost flat, "picture frame" (painted metal) with square corners. This ring is approximately 1-1/8"W. Therefore, the approximate inner dimensions are roughly 29-5/8” wide by 20-3/8” deep. Lauren@GEAppliances

• A:Answer The size of your existing cutout will dictate whether this kit will work for you or not. The filler kit will reduce any 30" cooktop cutout as large as 29-13/16" wide by 20-7/16" deep to what will be the "standard cutout" size for most current and future models like the JP3030TWWW which is 28 1/2"W x 19 1/2"D.
