Do not place a device in the heat. It will not last long at all over time. If the garage gives you the best reception, then you will need to mount your antenna in the garage and run your coaxial cable from there to a place within your home to the recast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had mine in the garage attic for going on two years now in MN. Just unplug it if it gets too hot. So far so good
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had mine in the attic and it was just too hot. You could just run a coax cable to the antenna and place the recast inside somewhere. You can get cable holders for pretty cheap to hold the cable up in the corner of your ceiling/walls to make it tidy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn’t need to be so close to your antenna. Just connect the wires safely and keep it in a secure place. I keep mine next to my router while my antenna is outside. Same antenna for both Tablo and Recast thanks to a splitter and the Recast picks up more channels than Tablo. Go figure!
