Recast works by recording shows broadcast over-the-air. That is, through a TV antenna. It then "recasts" them to your Fire TV devices using your wifi router. So your Internet bandwidth isn't really relevant.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure how well you will be able to stream from internet programming, but the OTA channels will be converted to your internal Wifi router. It should not matter how fast your internet is to view the OTA channels. That being said, there are many other features of the FireTV that do require internet and speed will be a factor for those. A good test would be to try to stream anything from the internet now. If the quality is ok, then you should be alright.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends how many devices are connected and what operations are being performed. Gaming or recording/watching multiple stations at same time will cause buffering. Buy a faster router such as an AC type like NETGEAR - AC1750.
