No, you only need one recast! I recommend the larger one because it has a quad tuner. You hook the recast to an over the air antenna and it does all the recording and acts as a hub. Any fire stick on the same network will be able to access it and the recordings from it along with the live tv broadcasts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You only need one recast and one antenna plugged into that recast. You can watch on two TVs at once - this is a limit whether you buy the two tuner or four tuner unit. I have a lot of Fire TV sticks and this recast thing works great.
