“Do I set recordings directly on the TV? Other DVRs make u use a smartphone to set up the DVR and set recordings. Do you just connect the antenna to the DVR and sync it to the TV and then use the TV to set the recordings? I don't want to use a phone at all”

U set the recordings on the tv but I think u can also set on the phone too just not sure about that. I know u can watch recordings on ur iphone. Amazon cust serv is most helpful w/ recast questions since it's amazon's product. Their number is 888-280-4331.

Please try again later.You can set recordings directly on the TV but you will need to use your phone to search for channels, connect to WiFi, reconnect to firestick if it disconnects for some reason.
