You will need a Fire Stick for the TV you want to watch the program from the Recast on. The Recast will only broadcast to a Fire Stick. I have a Fire Stick for all of my TVs, but if you don't want to buy 3 Fire Sticks you can always just move the Fire Stick from TV to TV. I have an old (pre-digital) antennae mount on a pole outside my house and it works fine. I have had the Fire Recast and Fire Sticks set up for about 3 months now and have been very happy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1) Recast only works with Fire Sticks or FireTV. Your smart tv will need to be a FireTV edition. You can always get Fire Sticks and plug them on the HDMI port on any tv. All DVR functions will be available through the Fire Sticks. 2) You will need one Fire Stick for each tv. Unless your tv is FireTV edition. 3) You can use your existing antenna. The connector on the recast is the standard coax connector. Make sure you have a good antenna and placed as high up as possible. Note: One thing I discovered with the 4 tuner recast. You can only watch 2 programs simultaneously even thought it has 4 tuners. Two tuners are dedicated for recording only. Note2: I use the Recast every day and found it to be the best OTA DVR available. I have used other brands and the reception is not as solid. They all seem to be susceptible to wind. Whenever it is windy outside some channels seem to blip on all OTA receivers.

You can also watch on your smart phone with the fire TV app. You need as many fire sticks as TV's you have or whatever TV's you want to watch on. You do not need a new antennae. I used the ones I already had.
