“I have a fitbit zip, but when I tried a fitbit alla hr, they sync together. I know the watch is not accurate on steps.. I want a watch for phone notifications. Is there any way to keep these 2 from syncing so I get an accurate step count?”

• Not sure about the sync issue, but your Fitbit Alta gives phone and text notifications, so no watch needed?

• Yes. You have to call Fitbit customer service and they will walk you through the steps.
