Please try again later.While I think using your phones GPS is supposed to make your results more accurate, it is not at all necessary to use the phones GPS to provide results fairly accurately. I think the super athletic people (marathon runners, professional athletes that want those uber exact tracking results are shelling out for chest straps and and super expensive high end sports watches like the Garmin Fenix series. They're going to want a device with built in GPS, at the very least that can provide the finest of workout details. For the rest of us, this works just fine, with or without using the GPS piggybacking feature.
